Pierre Boulin has been a Senior Research Analyst in the R&D Division of EDF, the French electricity company, for more than 4 years. He is in charge of economical and technical aspects of new sources of fossil fuels. Prior to joining EDF, Pierre was in charge of a laboratory on low permeability porous media for 5 years at the French Institute of Petroleum IFPEN. He holds a PhD degree in Hydrogeology from the University of Grenoble and his research focused on hydrogen issues in nuclear waste disposals. He has a Msc in Environmental Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
