Presenting Authors

The 27th World Gas Conference Call for Abstracts reviewing process has now been completed by the IGU Committees and Task Forces. We would like to thank everybody who submitted an abstract to speak at WGC 2018 – the time, effort and care you have dedicated to your submissions is invaluable to us. Many congratulations to our successful presenting authors!

All speakers participating in Presentations and Q&A sessions are asked to prepare a Powerpoint Presentation. You must use the official WGC 2018 Powerpoint template slides which can be downloaded via the link below. Presentations should be uploaded to the WGC Submission Zone under the relevant session type..

Speakers participating in Panel Discussions should not submit a Powerpoint Presentation.

All authors presenting at WGC 2018 will be required to pay a discounted conference fee of USD$3,500.

Please note that presenting authors must register through the Presentation Portal to be eligible for the discounted speaker registration fee. Please log in here and navigate to the ‘Speaker Registration’ tab. Presenting authors must have completed their registration by Friday, April 6, 2018.

Final papers should be based on the successful abstract that was submitted and will be included for publication in the official published conference proceedings. All presenting authors are required to submit a final paper by Friday, March 9, 2018.

The author and IGU hold joint copyright with respect to accepted abstracts and full papers. The full papers will be registered within the IGU as reference literature and will be included in the electronic documentation to be distributed to all registered participants of WGC 2018. Authors are required to provide the IGU with applicable copyright permissions and warranties prior to any distribution or publication.

By submitting an abstract and paper, the author declares that the full paper has not been and will not been published on any occasion prior to the 27th World Gas Conference.
