Jo Ferrie, Manager Social Investment, Woodside Energy, began her career as a journalist and has since led public and community affairs teams across the government and private sectors for the past 25 years. Jo currently manages Woodside Energy’s social contribution portfolio, including the company’s Woodside Development Fund, a collaborative approach to creating early childhood development outcomes. Jo is a member of the University of Western Australia’s Centre for Social Impact (CSI) Advisory Council which is part of a national collaboration with UNSW Australia and Swinburne University of Technology. Together, the three universities form the CSI, which takes a systems approach to developing innovative solutions to the biggest social challenges today, with a vision for a better Australia tomorrow. Jo is past chair and steering committee member of the London Benchmarking Group Australia New Zealand, recognised as the leading independent verification of corporate community investment.
