Hyunseok You majored in Combustion Engineering before joining Korea Gas Corporation in 1992 as a Researcher in the New Energy System. His working areas include: combustion technology, wasted energy, gas quality and GHG Inventory & LCA.

Since 2009, Hyunseok has been a member of the IGU Sustainability committee.
