Guilhem Caumette obtained his master degree in analytical chemistry from the University of Pau and the University of Aberdeen in 2006. Three years later he defended his PhD with the french institute of petroleum (IFP), on his work on metal speciation analysis in petroleum. After four years as a research assistant at the Environmental Sciences Group of Kingston (ON, Canada), working on arsenic cycling in contaminated environments, Guilhem Caumette joined TIGF (Transport et Infrastructures Gaz France) where he is conducting research projects on the impact on natural gas storage in aquifer UGS.
