Degree in Industrial Engineer at Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) and at École Nationale Supérieure de Techniques Avancées (ENSTA) de Paris, and a Program for Management Development at IESE Business School.
After an initial professional period in the power industry at carbon emissions (Union Fenosa and Gas Natural), he joined in 2012 Enagás, the principal Spanish transmission, underground storage and LNG terminals operator. Since then, he has worked at the Commercial & Logistics Division, being firstly account manager for the commercialization and logistic, both LNG and NG, of the different services provided by Enagás in its LNG terminals, pipelines and underground storages; afterwards LNG Project Manager; and currently Head of Commercial & Logistic Operations.
On the LNG terminal field, he contributes for the logistics and commercialization of Enagas´ terminals in Spain: Barcelona, Huelva, Cartagena and El Musel, the development of reloading, LNG trucking and small scale services, and is actively promoting the development of new LNG logistic services such as parking gas, bunkering, bulk break, LNG railroad, LNG distribution and others as the Iberian Peninsula is an international LNG hub, being the regulation and spare capacity key issues of its flexibility.
Additionally, he participates on the internationalization process of Enagás as a commercial and logistic expert on the M&A process and commercial development projects at Enagás International Assets.
Finally, Mr. Rojo Blanco is member of the IGU LNG Committee, leading the group in charge of defining measures to improve LNG markets liquidity, and lecturer in the Sedigas Institute.
