PRESS RELEASE – JAN 22, 2018
World’s Newest Liquefaction Terminal Opens Doors to WGC 2018 Delegates
The 27th World Gas Conference (WGC 2018) takes place in Washington DC from June 25-29, 2018 and is the first time in WGC’s 87 year history that it will be held in a country that is both the world’s largest gas consumer and gas producer. As part of the conference and exhibition, delegates also have the unique opportunity to add Technical Tours to their experience, to visit some of the region’s key energy sites.
Dominion Energy Cove Point Terminal, located in Lusby, Maryland, not far from Washington DC, will open liquefaction service in early 2018. It has just been announced that WGC 2018 delegates will be offered an opportunity to visit the world’s newest liquefaction terminal this June – the premier facility in terms of direct access to the Marcellus and Utica shale plays, two of the most prolific natural gas basins in North America.
